I started the year by making the Baie Verte calendar, each month represented with a photo taken during one of my daily walks in the area.

I didn’t have the heart or energy to make this calendar last year. But this year I suddenly felt a wave of organizational energy and then, there it was!

The Baie Verte 2024 has a moody air, each photo imbued with a lingering sadness that was accidental but expressive of our last few years.

Are we ready to move on, to digest our discomfort, to find a way to forgive and forget? Even as we all struggle with rising costs and lingering resentments?

It is a peace offering, and it is, for me, a path.
